Seeking a Technical Inside Sales Representative to join our Tampa, Florida office. The Technical Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our valued clients. In addition, you will recommend technical solutions to a varied industrial customer base, support outside sales, and generate complex quotes.
The primary focus will be managing our valve and instrumentation, and product lines. Knowledge of product and/or a strong mechanical aptitude is a must.

Seeking a Technical Inside Sales Representative to join our Tampa, Florida office. The Technical Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our valued clients. In addition, you will recommend technical solutions to a varied industrial customer base, support outside sales, and generate complex quotes.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and cultivate positive customer relationships.
- Provide price and availability on any standard or specialty item directly to customers.
- Take and solicit orders from customers over the phone and via e-mail.
- Process orders, via order entry system, from our stock or directly source from suppliers.
- Expedite orders and maintain contact with customers and suppliers.
- Follow up on orders to ensure critical deliveries.
- Resolve any order problems related to delivery or paperwork issues directly with customers and suppliers.
- Handle all inquiries/contacts in a professional manner.
- Work in concert with our outside sales team; funnel leads/opportunities to the sales team
- Resolve product issues or determine product needs over the phone or via e-mail
- Professionally related work experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to address concerns and communicate clearly and efficiently.
- Convey a positive, customer-friendly disposition.
- Handle and resolve challenging problems.
- Strong organizational, communication, attention to detail, and time management skills.
- Establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision.
