Job Title: Logistics Accounting Analyst
Reports to: Accounting Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt
Schedule & Availability:
This operation runs 24/7. Work schedules are determined by business volume and operational needs. Weekend availability is required, and the facility is closed only three days per year.
Job Purpose
Responsible for maintaining logistics accounting functions and billing accuracy.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Complete billing verification processes.
- Prepare weekly KPI reports.
- Generate month-end reports and accruals.
- Verify carrier rates in TruckMate.
- Perform 3-way matching of carrier invoices.
- Provide guidance and supervision to Billing Specialists.
- Set invoices up for approval and payment.
- Reconcile payments.
- Monitor and reconcile carrier aging statements.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies with carriers.
- Resolve billing issues in collaboration with operations.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Review agency staffing invoices.

Education & Experience Requirements
- 2–4 years of relevant work experience.
- Minimum 6 months of TruckMate experience.
- Minimum 6 months of SAP experience.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines.
Computer Skills
- Strong proficiency in SAP, Excel, and MS Office.
Reasoning Ability
- Must be able to interact with all levels of management.
- Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
- Extended periods of sitting at a computer workstation.
- Walking or climbing stairs as needed.
Work Environment
- Distribution center environment with varying temperatures.
