Accurate Fabrication is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Human Resources Intern (PAID) to assist with employee records management, compliance documentation, and HR administrative projects. This internship provides hands-on experience in human resources operations, document management, and HR information systems within a manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate is a current high school or college student interested in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field and is comfortable working with confidential information.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Review, organize, and upload employee training records into TRAMS.
- Pull and upload forklift certification documentation into TRAMS.
- Pull and upload employee handbook acknowledgment forms into TRAMS.
- Audit employee files to ensure proper separation and organization of:
- Personnel files
- Medical files
- I-9 documentation
- Assist with employee file maintenance and record retention projects.
- Take employee photographs and upload them into JobBOSS.
- Scan, index, and electronically file HR documents.
- Assist with HR data entry and record verification.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
- Support additional HR and administrative projects as assigned.
- Current high school junior/senior, technical college student, or college student.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to use standard office equipment, including computers, scanners, and printers.
This position operates in both an office and manufacturing environment. Appropriate safety policies and procedures must be followed when entering production areas.
