AccuForce is seeking skilled and experienced Maintenance Mechanics for immediate openings with a growing company in Mountain City, TN!
In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate possesses a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a practical mindset to ensure all equipment remains in top operating condition.
Pay: Starting at $23.00 (depending on experience)
Schedule: All shifts available
Shift 1: 7AM – 3PM
Shift 2: 3PM – 11PM
Shift 3: 11PM – 7AM
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, repair, and maintain mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and troubleshoot machinery issues.
- Read, interpret, and follow operation manuals and technical instructions.
- Maintain inspection, servicing, and testing schedules for machinery.
- Safely operate a wide variety of hand and power tools.
- Clean, repair, and replace parts or equipment as needed.
- Perform general building and facility maintenance work as assigned.
- Maintain a clean, organized work space and comply strictly with health and safety regulations.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Trade/Vocational school graduation preferred.
- Experience: 2 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic or in a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and proficiency with hand/power tools.
- Computer Skills: Solid computer proficiency.
- Physical Capabilities: Physical dexterity and ability to work with heavy equipment/tools.
- Safety: Knowledge of health and safety standards.
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
