Evening and night shift available.
Responsibilities:
- Aliquot samples and prepares samples for testing,
- Prepares reagents needed for analytical procedures
- Maintains and follows all laboratory methods, protocols and SOPs
- Performs and documents routine maintenance of the equipment including temperature readings, basic troubleshooting, and daily laboratory housekeeping
- Maintains knowledge of current laboratory practice via continuing education, including attendance at laboratory meetings
- Maintaining laboratory organization and supply inventories
- Follows safety and operational SOPs as required.
- Adherence to all company Policies and Procedures
- Flexible in the schedule and willing to learn outside the regular job duties.
- Ability to lift 20 – 30 lbs
- High school, Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Well organized and detail oriented; ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Effective and comfortable communicator
- Flexible and positive attitude and high level of comfort in a dynamic and changing environment
- Strong sense of job ownership
- Ability to take initiative and work well with minimal supervision Good problem-solver and trouble-shoot
