Salary Schedule: E3 04 EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
- Provide assistance in the areas of carpentry, electrical work, lighting, plumbing, heating and air conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation, plastering, painting, interior alterations, and general mechanical repair work.
- Duties include but are not limited to: replacing electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors; using plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings; repairing or replacing sinks, water coolers, and toilets; painting structures and equipment; repairing or replacing concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks; replacing damages paneling, ceiling and floor tiles; hanging doors and installing door locks; replacing broken window panels; and performing general maintenance on buildings, equipment and machinery.
- Move furniture and equipment and load and unload suppliers.
- Assist in ground upkeep.
- Assist in keeping facilities clean.
- Operate forklift.
- Delivery and/or pickup of supplies as needed.
- Assist with preparation and facilitation of college events and meetings.
