LOCATION
- South Charlotte – hybrid schedule with 3 days on-site and 2 days remote
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely processing, collections, and vendor payments.
- Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and adherence to close deadlines.
- Support audits and financial reporting, preparing schedules and documentation for leadership and external auditors.
- Identify gaps and bring structure, controls, and consistency to accounting processes as the company grows through acquisitions.
- Partner with the Assistant Controller, Fractional CFO, COO, and other leaders to resolve issues and support reporting needs.
- Complete the hands-on work day to day while improving how it gets done.
BACKGROUND THAT FITS
- Ownership of AP and AR in a full-cycle accounting role
- Strong month-end close, journal entry, and account reconciliation experience
- Audit support experience
- A track record of cleaning up or building accounting processes and controls
- Small-company or lean-team experience. You’re comfortable wearing multiple hats.
- Industrial real estate or property accounting experience is a plus
- Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently with senior leadership
