The Production Coordinator is responsible for supporting production through the processing of production orders, trials, re-runs, specification changes, schedule changes, and re-works, to meet customer purchase order requirements at Accredo Packaging.
Location: Sugar Land, TX (77478)
Type: Onsite, 5 days a week. No option for remote or hybrid
Hourly rate: $20.00 per hour

The Production Coordinator is responsible for supporting production through the processing of production orders, trials, re-runs, specification changes, schedule changes, and re-works, to meet customer purchase order requirements at Accredo Packaging.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Tracking and monitoring new customer orders, verifying that all POs have been processed and planned.
- Creating and updating job cards and building production orders including the routing of each step via MS Dynamics BC365
- Moving and tracking jobs through interdepartmental processing and to production floor.
- Supporting the scheduling of jobs in shop floor terminal software as needed.
- Processing any changes to production orders.
- Working with the production floor to support the movement and changes to production orders.
- Finding ways to improve job-building and help create synergies amongst various teams
- Education: High School Diploma; BA / BS in supply chain management, logistics, or related field is preferred.
- Experience: Experience with Microsoft Office Suite products, such as Word and Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems preferred
- Skills: Strong math skills and ability to conduct calculations with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and meet constant deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on superior service delivery via telephone, electronic means and in person communication.
- Ability to read, write and speak in the English language to the extent necessary to effectively communicate and interpret instructions
- Works in business office & manufacturing environments that may be noisy and fast paced. Many tasks are repetitive
- Must be able to sit (60%), walk/ stand (40%), reach, bend, crouch, twist; manual dexterity required for cycle counting & other tasks.
- Occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds.
- Speaking and hearing require communicate over the telephone.
- Vision, depth perception & color vision required to perform essential duties
- Performing other related duties assigned.
