Accountants One is working with a Real Estate Company in the Metro Atlanta area, looking for a Senior Property Accountant. The Senior Property Accountant will work closely with management on getting out the financials for their assigned properties. The Senior Property Accountant will handle the following:
- Close properties monthly, including reconciliation of general
- Work with Asset Managers on forecasts and work on annual budgets with Property Managers
- Will be responsible for reviewing accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense accruals, verifying revenue, and operating expense adjustments.
- Will approve the A/P invoice for the different properties
- Will be responsible for straight-line rent and operating expenses
- Work with joint venture partners and prepare venture reporting monthly.
- Special projects
Requirements:
- Must have a bachelor’s in accounting
- 3-5 years of accounting experience
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite ( Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
