Headquartered in Birmingham, the company has been in operation for 16 years and focuses primarily on self-storage investments, backed by prominent institutional investors. This hybrid position has become available due to continued organizational expansion. This is a hybrid role and can be based in Birmingham, Atlanta, or Charlotte.
The ideal candidate will possess a CPA, strong management experience, a solid accounting background within the real estate industry, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This company offers a great base salary plus huge bonus potential.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA is a must
- 5 years of experience in real estate finance, private equity, or similar industry
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards (GAAP, IFRS)
- Strong knowledge of real estate investment structures including partnerships, joint ventures, and fund structures.
- Experience with real estate modeling, valuations, and waterfall calculations
- Yardi, CRM, ERP implementation a plus
