Accountable Revenue Cycle Solutions is seeking a Human Resources Assistant that works in-office in Westerville, Ohio to join our organization. Experience in human resources is preferred, but we’re looking for someone that can also offer more than that. POSITION PURPOSE

The Human Resources Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. This position offers hands-on experience in various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, benefits administration, payroll support, compliance, and HR recordkeeping. The individual will gain practical experience while assisting with daily HR activities and special projects that support the organization's employees and clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with recruiting activities, including posting job openings, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Support onboarding processes by preparing new hire paperwork, tracking required documentation, and assisting with orientation activities.
  • Maintain employee records and HR files while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company-sponsored events.
  • Help track employee training assignments and maintain Learning Management System records.
  • Assist with benefits administration activities, including enrollment support and employee communications.
  • Support payroll processing activities by assisting with timekeeping, attendance tracking, and data verification.
  • Conduct research related to compensation, benefits, and HR best practices as assigned.
  • Assist with updating employee handbooks, policies, procedures, and other HR documentation.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and HR-related communications.
  • Assist with compliance audits and maintaining HR documentation required by federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Support employee surveys and engagement initiatives by compiling and analyzing data.
  • Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Perform general administrative duties including filing, scanning, document organization, and responding to routine employee inquiries.
  • Assist with special projects and other HR-related duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Previous office, administrative, customer service, or HR experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with HR systems or applicant tracking systems is a plus

Education

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, or a related field

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
