Job Description
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages in accordance with GIGI Café’s recipes and brand standards.
- Provide friendly, attentive, and personalized service to all guests, creating a welcoming and positive café experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace, ensuring all equipment is properly operated and maintained.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup, cleaning, and restocking supplies.
- Support team members by collaborating and communicating effectively to ensure smooth café operations during all shifts.
- Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally, escalating any concerns to the Restaurant Manager as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and food hygiene standards and policies.
- Participate actively in training sessions and skill development initiatives to enhance product knowledge and service quality.
- Assist with inventory management, including tracking stock levels and reporting shortages to management.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues and fostering open communication.
- Complete all required daily reports and checklists accurately and on time.
- Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by the Restaurant Manager or supervisor to support the success of the café.
- We recognize we are in the hospitality industry and that may require us to provide lateral service.
- We will on occasion call for each individual in the team to, on a routine basis perform various related tasks as needed in the spirit of providing exceptional guest service.
