Here at Accolade Living Centers, we pride ourselves on person-centered care. We are advocates in providing a stable, long-term living environment for Medicaid clients. As our facility continues to grow and change, we are looking to find a fantastic individual for our Administrator position.
An Assisted Living Facility Administrator wears many hats and is ultimately the “oil to our machine” that keeps everything running smoothly. Ideally, we are searching for a well-rounded individual with a strong background in Assisted Living.
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Colorado Administrator Certification, or ability and qualifications to obtain certificate while training
- 1-3 years working in as Assisted Living Facility, management a plus
- Ensure Facility operates in accordance with the State Health Department's Guidelines
- Compliant to Assisted Living Policies & Procedures
- Orchestrate the day-to-day operations and areas of the building
- Assist with training, supervision, appraisals, and corrective action
- Must be able to read, transcribe physician orders accurately
- Must ensure all residents have their prescribed medications
- Maintain Occupancy
- Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
- Communicate effectively with Executive Director, Resident Coordinator, Office Manager and other employees.
- Floor-time with staff & residents
- Make rounds to assess quality of care performance and teamwork by employees, assuring quality service.
- Strive to meet resident and family satisfaction
- Respond to family concerns and complaints
- On-Call Availability
- Complete accident/incident reports
- Notify Director of all incident/occurrences
- Complete first report of injury on employee's, notify Business Manager, Operations Manager, or COO (Chief Operations Officer)
- Participate in employee performance evaluations, determining your shift's staffing requirement
- Train and Cross-Train Employees
- Manage Staffing and Scheduling
- Understand the importance of communication and follow-through
- Maintain confidentiality and rights of resident, family, employee, and facility information in compliance with PHI HIPAA policies and applicable regulations
- Organizational Skills
- Maintains safe work environment and exhibits safe work practices
- Maintain neat and tidy front office and conference rooms
- Demonstrate a passion for caring as evidenced by interaction with co-workers, residents, families, and visitors.
- Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
- Must be able to read. write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
- Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.
- Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as willingness to handle difficult residents.
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace
- Perform all other duties, as assigned.
As an Administrator you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations within the facility, involving staff and residents alike. Every day is different, so versatility is a must. As these challenges present themselves, you’ll use your best judgment to make beneficial decisions for each situation. Daily interaction and communication with management team, staff and residents is a given. Our ideal candidate will exercise compassion with our residents, making them feel at home and taken care of. You’ll lead staff by example with your positive and understanding attitude, as well as your strong work ethic and ability complete tasks as needed.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
