JOB SCOPE

The Lead Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is a senior clinical role responsible for managing a caseload while providing mentorship and clinical guidance to newer clinicians. This position supports high-quality service delivery by overseeing assessments, treatment planning, and staff development while contributing to a collaborative and growth-focused environment.

REQUIRED KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Licenses/Certifications required:

  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, or related field
  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • Active Behavior Specialist license in Pennsylvania

Experience required:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a BCBA
  • Demonstrated experience conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing behavior interventions

Supervisory experience needed:

  • Experience supervising RBTs (Registered Behavior Technicians) and mentoring clinicians preferred

Additional Requirements:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate computer skills (data collection systems, EHR, Microsoft Office, etc.)
  • Ability to pass required background checks and clearances
  • Valid driver’s license

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIESPosition Specific Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and oversee a caseload of clinic-based and community-based clients while meeting billable requirements
  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans based on data and clinical judgment
  • Provide supervision, training, and performance feedback to RBTs and other staff
  • Mentor and support newer clinicians and Behavior Specialists pursuing BCBA certification
  • Communicate regularly with families and caregivers, providing education and updates
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development and service improvement
  • Assist with center-based services and programming as needed
  • Participate in company trainings and ongoing professional development
  • Apply current ABA research to clinical practice
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct supervision and mentorship to RBTs and junior clinicians
  • Support training, onboarding, and professional development of staff
  • Promote adherence to clinical best practices and ethical standards

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Physical Demands:

  • Regular standing, walking, sitting, bending, carrying, and reaching
  • Frequent use of electronic devices (tablet/computer)
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs
  • Ability to engage in activities of daily living

Mobility and Travel:

  • Ability to navigate homes, schools, and community settings (including stairs)
  • Ability to work in a variety of environments and conditions
  • Frequent travel between service locations; occasional travel for meetings and trainings

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
