About the Role
Accessible Housing WI is seeking a highly organized, detail-driven Construction Scheduler / Project Manager to support our growing team. This full-time role centers on coordinating timelines, managing subcontractors, and maintaining project accuracy within Buildertrend to ensure efficient, smooth-running construction operations.
We build for internal use only—no client interaction required.
This position is perfect for someone who enjoys structure, strong communication, and keeping multiple moving pieces aligned.
Experience: 2 years
Education: Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Pull and track permits
- Verify document accuracy and version control
- Schedule subcontractors and maintain contact as timelines shift
- Manage 15± similar construction projects at varying stages
- Create, maintain, and update construction schedules in Buildertrend
- Communicate schedule changes to subcontractors and vendors
- Track milestones, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure on-time completion
- Input, organize, and maintain project information, documents, and change orders
- Monitor project progress and identify delays or conflicts
- Generate weekly status updates for active jobs
- Assist with material ordering, delivery coordination, and logistics
Qualifications
- Experience with Buildertrend or similar construction management software
- Familiarity with Gantt charts and construction scheduling
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Comfortable working independently and proactively
- Understanding of construction timelines, terminology, and industry workflow
- Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new systems and manage digital processes
- Familiarity with Slack and AppFolio is a plus
