Our installed sales department focuses on various projects such as widening doors, creating barrier-free shower stalls, installing indoor and outdoor handrails, among other modifications. This is a full-time, on-site role for a Lead Carpenter located in Kansas City, KS. The Lead Carpenter will be responsible for executing and overseeing carpentry projects. Day-to-day tasks include using both hand and power tools to complete framing and finishing carpentry tasks. The Lead Carpenter will supervise crew members, ensure compliance with safety guidelines, and maintain the quality of work. The role will also involve direct interaction with clients to ensure their needs are met and projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Proficiency in Carpentry, including framing and finish carpentry skills
- Experience in handling Power Tools and Hand Tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience in accessibility remodeling is a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or GED, with additional vocational training preferred
