Key Responsibilities
- Perform general and critical care respiratory procedures in compliance with guidelines.
- Manage invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation and airway equipment.
- Obtain and analyze blood gases; document procedures and provide patient education.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and contribute to patient care planning.
- Adhere to infection control standards and perform equipment disinfection.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Associate degree or equivalent experience; graduate from an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
- Respiratory Care Practitioner license and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
- Current BLS certification; NRP, PALS, ACLS, etc., as required.
- Ability to treat patients across all age groups.
