Qualifications & Certifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
- Valid RN license for the state or compact licensure, compliant with licensing requirements.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or completed within 30 days of hire.
- Additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, C-EFM, or other unit-specific credentials may be required based on the department.
- Apply the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
- Uphold patient rights, confidentiality, and safety standards.
- Maintain physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform tasks requiring reaching, bending, and kneeling.
