Senior Project Manager
The Sr. Project Manager works in partnership with the account, design, production and event services groups, acting as a hub for workflow and communication for the design and production aspects of projects. The Sr. Project Manager will oversee and control all phases of assigned projects, ensuring they are executed on time and on budget
What you will do:
- Provide a single point-of-contact for on-site supervisors with production-related questions.
- Manage project timelines and schedules through completion.
- Mentor and act as training resource for Project Management Team.
- Review client schedules and forecasts with internal teams, ensuring understanding of upcoming work, key projects. Work with creative, account services and production to anticipate workload and align internal resources.
- Drive project production launch process to ensure timely and effective project launches. Lead the production launch meetings ensuring each department has received the information needed to execute their portion of the project.
- Work with Production CAD Detailers, approving all construction drawings before actual production.
- Participate in pre-show planning with client services team, event services managers and field supervisors on larger projects to establish installation schedule and as a resource for key information related to the exhibit components and construction.
- Manage client previews as required, participate in design launch meetings.
- Interact with clients/key prospects as needed including participating in weekly client calls, client planning calls, etc.
- Oversee quality control process, administering “Last Call” procedures for all deliverables.
- Steward post show client inspection/damage report process by working with manager of post-production to ensure that inspections are being done within 10 business days of receipt of exhibit after last show and by providing client service team with final damage report pricing within 10 business days.
- Establish material counts (in conjunction with the estimator and/or the shop supervisor) for production projects.
- Work closely with the estimating and account services teams to proactively identify and implement potential cost efficiencies.
- Accurately, effectively, and efficiently manage the production and scheduling any sized project with limited supervision.
- Source materials and work with approved Access TCA vendors to secure cost savings efficiencies.
- Work flexible hours under pressure while maintaining deadlines for multiple projects.
- Project tracking, updates and communication using Project Management software.
What we’d love to see:
- Associate’s degree or higher in related field is strongly preferred.
- A minimum of fifteen (15) years’ experience in the exhibit or trade show industries.
- Minimum of ten (10) years Project Management and/or Operational Management experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Word and Excel.
- Clear and effective oral and written communication skills.
- Strong ability to read and interpret CAD (computer-Aided-Design) technical drawings and an understanding of standard display techniques and fabrication materials.
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize daily workload.
- Ability and willingness to travel if needed.
Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
