This role ensures accurate inventory control, proper storage, and compliance with internal procedures and safety standards. Job Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory accounts for freezer units and all associated storage areas
- Perform routine cycle counts and internal inventory audits on a weekly basis or as assigned
- Accurately label, organize, and store materials in designated locations
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper documentation of all incoming and outgoing items
- Report discrepancies, damages, or missing inventory to the Inventory Manager and Purchasing Department
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant receiving and storage area
- Coordinate and distribute materials to internal departments as needed
- Support inventory tracking and documentation processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Previous experience in receiving, warehouse, inventory control, or a related role
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a laboratory environment with sensitive materials (no direct handling of samples)
- Experience with inventory management systems such as Fishbowl or QuickBooks
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
