We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at one of our Premier Communities in Ellijay, Georgia. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in preserving the good condition and functionality of our community.
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in facilities and/or residential building maintenance, with a strong background in risk management, OSHA, and MSDS. They will possess a safety mindset, excellent communication skills, and a sharp professional appearance.
A successful Maintenance Technician will be responsible for handling all aspects of maintenance for the community, including general upkeep, cleanliness, grounds maintenance, and amenity maintenance. They will also be responsible for troubleshooting and repair of mechanical systems, as well as reporting potential liability concerns or safety hazards.
Other duties may include participating in meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Work involves moderate to heavy work in all types of weather. There is frequent need to stand, stoop, walk, lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds), and perform other similar actions during the workday.
