Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including physical exams and clinical assessments
  • Develop and manage treatment plans, including prescribing medications and follow-up care
  • Obtain, document, and maintain accurate patient medical histories
  • Analyze diagnostic tests, lab results, and clinical findings
  • Diagnose illnesses and conditions and establish appropriate care plans
  • Ensure accurate, timely documentation, including ICD-10 and CPT coding
  • Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians and care teams as appropriate
  • Maintain required licensure, certifications, and CME compliance
  • Uphold all federal, state, and organizational regulations
  • Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and integrity in all interactions

QualificationsEducation & Experience

  • Master’s Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Prior experience as an APRN in primary care or similar clinical setting

Licenses & Certifications

  • Active State APRN License
  • National board certification (ANCC, AANP, or applicable)
  • Current DEA registration

  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and manage patient care effectively
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Communication Skills

  • Ability to clearly communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Skilled in responding to inquiries from patients and regulatory agencies

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with EMR systems and patient data management

Work Environment

  • Fast-paced, patient-focused clinical setting
  • Moderate noise level

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, and engage in patient care activities throughout the day
  • Occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds
