Office Hours are Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Experience developing and delivering training programs for clinical and administrative staff.
SUMMARY
Provides EMR training to new hires and provides on-going training as needed throughout the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for training new hires on computer software. Travel to various offices throughout the organization to assist staff with on-going training, as needed. Work in conjunction with the IT department to resolve user software issues. Update and maintain training materials. Ensure compliance requirements, HIPAA, confidentiality.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or zero to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous experience with EMR/EHR
Prior medical office experience
Knowledge of front office, back office and billing
Communication Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Mathematical Skills:
Add, subtract, multiply, divide.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills:
Proficient use of mouse and keyboard (typing 30 wpm), locating saved files, copy and paste functions, opening and closing software files, navigation of the computer. Microsoft office (word, excel, outlook). Basic troubleshooting ability.
