Medical Assistant/Licensed Practical Nurse-Float

ACCESS Family Care is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Clinic Float to join our team! This position provides clinical and administrative support across multiple clinic locations. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with patient intake, including obtaining vital signs, medical history, and reason for visit.
• Administer medications, injections, and immunizations per provider orders.
• Perform diagnostic tests, specimen collection, EKGs, and other clinical tasks.
• Assist providers with minor procedures and treatments.
• Educate patients on medications, treatments, and follow-up care.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Support administrative tasks such as scheduling, referrals, and supply management.
• Travel to clinic located throughout SW Missouri as needed

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma or certification as a Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Certification/Licensure:
  • MA: Certification (CMA, RMA) preferred.
  • LPN: Active MO state licensure required.
  • BLS/CPR certification required.
  • Proficient in English/Spanish
• Experience: 2 year of experience in a clinic or outpatient setting preferred.
• Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with EHR systems.
  • Reliable transportation to travel between clinic locations.
