Boston Mountain Rural Health Center is currently accepting applications for a full-time Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse-Float at our clinic located in Green Forest, Arkansas.
Notice: Safety-Sensitive Position
This position has been designated as safety-sensitive under the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment. Employees in this role must be able to perform job duties in a manner that ensures the safety of patients, coworkers, and the public.
· Employees in safety-sensitive positions are subject to drug and alcohol testing in accordance with company policy and state law.
· The use of marijuana (including medical marijuana), illegal substances, or misuse of prescription medications is prohibited for employees in safety-sensitive positions.
· A positive drug test result, including marijuana, will result in ineligibility for hire or removal from a safety-sensitive position.
The Nurse works as part of the clinical team and assists the Healthcare Provider in the provision of primary health care providing limited direct patient services and performing specifically designated independent procedures as outlined by the nursing scope of practice by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing. Our office hours are 7:45am to 5:15pm Monday through Thursday and 7:45am to 11:45am on Friday. Some travel is required for this position.
Qualifications include a current certification of practice as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Arkansas. Must have current CPR certification. Sufficient experience to carry out duties of this position is preferred.
