Accountant

Access Energy Cooperative is an electric distribution cooperative serving members in parts of 10 counties in southeast Iowa. Access Energy Cooperative is seeking candidates for an Accountant position. The successful candidate will support the financial operations of the Cooperative by assisting with day-to-day accounting activities and financial reporting.

What you need/preferred to have:

• A minimum 4 year degree in accounting, business, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn industry specific software

What you will do:

• Process accounts payable and miscellaneous accounts receivables.
• Reconcile credit card statements and bank deposits.
• Process patronage dividend claims and maintain accounts.
• Assist with audit preparation.

Salary commensurate with experience.
