Here’s What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and Manage Projects: Direct and oversee the planning, execution, and finalization of departmental and organizational projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Develop Detailed Work Plans: Create comprehensive work plans that identify necessary activities, resources, and objectives, while mapping complex dependencies across workstreams.
- Monitor Progress and Adjust Plans: Track project milestones and deliverables, adjusting resources and plans as needed to meet customer needs effectively.
- Facilitate Stakeholder Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders regarding project status, scope, budget, and risks.
- Implement Risk Management Strategies: Identify potential risks and create contingency plans to address functional, quality, and timeline issues as they arise.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: At least 5 years of project management experience, ideally in software-related projects.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project).
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams.
- Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
