LMFT Board - Approved Supervisor

The LMFT Board-Approved Supervisor provides clinical supervision to associate-level clinicians (e.g., LMFT-A, LGPC, LMSW, or equivalent), ensuring high-quality, ethical, and evidence-based care. This role supports professional development, clinical competency, and adherence to state board regulations while promoting a culture of accountability, growth, and client-centered practice.

Key Responsibilities: Clinical Supervision

• Provide individual and/or group supervision to pre-licensed clinicians in accordance with state board requirements
• Monitor supervisees’ clinical work, documentation, and treatment planning
• Support development of clinical skills, including assessment, diagnosis, and intervention strategies
• Ensure supervisees are practicing within scope and adhering to ethical standards

Training & Professional Development

• Guide supervisees in developing treatment plans aligned with evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, DBT, family systems)
• Provide feedback on clinical cases, including complex and high-risk situations
• Assist supervisees in preparing for licensure exams and meeting supervision hour requirements
• Facilitate case consultations and ongoing education

Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain accurate supervision records in compliance with state licensing board regulations
• Review and sign off on clinical documentation when required
• Ensure adherence to HIPAA, confidentiality standards, and organizational policies
• Support compliance with accreditation standards (e.g., CARF, Joint Commission if applicable)

Quality Assurance & Risk Management

• Identify and address clinical or ethical concerns in a timely manner
• Provide guidance on crisis intervention, safety planning, and mandated reporting
• Promote best practices in risk management and client care

Pay: $70.00 - $85.00 per hour
