We are seeking a highly skilled, collaborative, and mission-driven BCBA leader to support our innovative school-based POD model. Our POD model is an integrated approach designed to strengthen outcomes for scholars with behavioral, social, emotional, and developmental needs.
The School-Based BCBA is responsible for the clinical management of assigned ABA cases within the POD model. This includes conducting assessments, developing and updating treatment plans, supervising RBTs, monitoring implementation fidelity, analyzing data, and collaborating with school teams to support scholar success.
This position is structured to be approximately 60% virtual and 40% in-person.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and intake procedures to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans that support clients' developmental goals.
- Design and oversee behavior intervention plans tailored to the school environment and aligned with each scholar’s goals.
- Supervise, coach, and develop RBTs and behavioral support staff implementing treatment in school-based settings.
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary discussions as the behavioral subject matter expert, providing insight, recommendations, and progress updates.
- Deliver practical, evidence-based training and support to school personnel to strengthen implementation and build staff confidence.
- Support complex cases through problem-solving, consultation, and proactive planning in collaboration with the broader school team.
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation related to assessment, supervision, treatment planning, and ongoing case oversight.
Qualifications
- Current BCBA certification in Maryland
- Master’s degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, or related field
- Experience conducting behavioral assessments and functional behavior assessments
- Experience developing and overseeing behavior intervention plans
- Experience supervising RBTs and behavioral support staff
- Experience working with children and adolescents with behavioral and developmental needs
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Pay: $90,000.00 - $102,080.01 per year
