Registered Dietitian
Access Care Partners (ACP) is seeking a Registered Dietitian to support our community-based Nutrition Program serving older adults. This role combines nutrition counseling, education, menu planning, food safety oversight, and community outreach to help ensure high-quality nutrition services for program participants.
Schedule
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Hours: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
- 1-hour unpaid lunch break daily
- Eligible for up to 2 remote workdays per week after successful completion of the 6-month introductory period
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nutrition counseling and education to older adults and program participants.
- Develop and review menus to ensure compliance with state and federal nutrition standards.
- Monitor food safety, sanitation, meal quality, and program compliance.
- Conduct site visits to meal programs, kitchens, and community locations.
- Deliver staff trainings on nutrition, food safety, and related topics.
- Collaborate with caterers, community partners, healthcare providers, and regulatory agencies.
- Prepare reports, nutritional analyses, and required program documentation.
- Support community outreach initiatives and special nutrition programs.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN)
- Massachusetts Licensed Dietitian
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass required background checks
Preferred
- 0–2 years of related experience
- Experience in nutrition education, counseling, food service, or working with older adults
- ServSafe Certification or ability to obtain within 2 months of hire
Skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other software applications
