Qualifications:
You must meet the following requirements within 30 calendar days of the closing date of this announcement.Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as:
- Advise senior leadership on resource management and administrative programs, reviewing policies and recommending improvements to support agency operations; AND
- Lead projects and studies, preparing reports and briefings to support decision-making and improve program effectiveness; AND
- Advise leadership on financial management and administrative functions, including policy updates, audits, and program oversight to ensure compliance and efficiency.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-14, you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks.
Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a nontemporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
Responsibilities:
As a Management and Program Analyst, you will:- Serve as a senior advisor and subject matter expert to the Administrative Director, the Financial Program Manager, other agency senior leadership, and staff on a variety of matters relating to resource management programs to meet mission and operational requirements.
- Lead and execute projects and studies on key issues, program goals and objectives, work processes, and administrative operations of the agency. Prepares project papers, staff reports, and briefings for deliberation and decision-making purposes by senior leadership and encourages understanding and acceptance of findings and recommendations. Conducts briefings on special projects and sensitive programmatic issues to leadership.
- Serve as a focal point on Access Board's daily operational programs and processes. Including but not limited to, Records Management, Property Management, Security and Emergency Management, and other Administrative Services support.
