The Processor Relationship Manager will own the health and stability of banking partner integrations, serving as the primary technical liaison and proactively managing changes to ensure seamless connectivity. You’ll drive monitoring strategies, risk assessments, and change management processes, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance and performance. This position offers opportunities for professional growth, including exposure to strategic partner relationships, process optimization initiatives, and leadership in shaping integration best practices. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Bank Partner Integration Management

  • Serve as the primary technical liaison for banking partners, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication channels.
  • Monitor integration performance and proactively identify potential issues or changes in banking systems that could impact connectivity.
  • Track and assess updates or modifications made by banking partners to their APIs, SFTP configurations, or security protocols, ensuring timely adaptation.
  • Ensure all integrations remain compliant with regulatory and security standards (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR).

Proactive Change Management

  • Stay informed of banking partner roadmaps, release notes, and technical updates to anticipate integration impacts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to plan and implement necessary adjustments before changes affect production environments.
  • Maintain a risk register for upcoming changes and communicate mitigation strategies to stakeholders.

Integration Health & Maintenance

  • Conduct regular health checks on existing integrations to ensure stability and reliability.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation reflecting current integration specifications and any recent changes.
  • Coordinate with Engineering and Support teams to validate updates and minimize disruption during version upgrades or patches.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Provide timely updates to leadership and internal teams regarding integration status, upcoming changes, and potential risks.
  • Act as the technical point of contact for banking partners, ensuring transparency and responsiveness.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to keep internal teams informed about integration changes and best practices.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong ability to track and analyze API and SFTP connectivity, performance metrics, and error logs.
  • Knowledge of banking partner platforms, payment dispute protocols, and secure data exchange standards.
  • Skilled in assessing technical updates from banking partners and planning proactive adjustments.
  • Understanding of PCI DSS, GDPR, and other financial regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation for integrations and change tracking.

Analytical & Process Skills

  • Capable of identifying potential integration risks from upcoming changes and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Experience in streamlining workflows related to monitoring and maintenance activities.
  • Strong focus on accuracy when reviewing partner updates and integration specifications.

Soft Skills

  • Ability to build and maintain strong partnerships with processors and internal stakeholders.
  • Skilled in negotiating pricing, service-level agreements (SLAs), and terms of engagement.
  • Excellent communication skills to maintain strong partnerships with banking providers.
  • Ability to work effectively with Engineering, Support, Onboarding, and Product teams.
  • Anticipates issues before they occur and takes initiative to address them.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or 3 to 5 years in technical integration or banking technology roles, with experience in monitoring and change management.

Additional Details

  • Potential salary range: $110,000-130,000. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
  • This role is eligible for remote US-based (work-from-home) locations. Chicago-based candidates would work in a hybrid capacity from the Accertify HQ located in Itasca, IL.
  • Travel: Less than 15%
  • Visa Sponsorship: employment eligibility to work for Accertify in the U.S. is required, as Accertify will not pursue Visa sponsorship for this position.
