You’re here to build what’s next, on a team that outperforms every norm.Visit us here to learn more about ​Accenture Infrastructure & Capital ProjectsTHE WORK:You’ll perform power systems analysis such as short circuit duty analysis, capacity analysis, reliability, protection, voltage impact and power factor studies.You’ll analyze distribution power systems (radial systems) for voltage impacts, harmonics, or overloading issues using power flow software (i.e. CYME or PSLF).You’ll evaluate various load profiles to determine acceptable penetration level of distributed generation at different locations in existing distribution network.You’ll determine overhead and underground cable sizes and types based on ampacities, circuit topology, mutual heating effects, etc.You’ll develop scope and design projects based on assessments associated with power system analysis, planning, design, construction, operation and maintenance of distribution networks.You’ll review and identify mapping discrepancies and update electrical maps and drawings.You’ll review and analyze Rule 21 applications for interconnecting generation.You’ll perform technical reviews to identify how the project can be interconnected to the utility’s electrical grid in a safe and reliable manner while complying with all applicable standards and regulations.You’ll assist in validating ADMS applications by performing functional and performance testing under various grid scenarios.You’ll support acceptance testing and model validation activities for ADMS projects, ensuring accurate system configurations.You’ll perform power system analysis using ADMS tools such as DPF, BLA, LVM, and FLISR to evaluate operational performance.You’ll participate in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and simulation-based testing to verify feeder automation logic and restoration workflows.You’ll contribute to optimization of ADMS functionalities including FLISR, Volt/VAR control, CVR, and DER integration under guidance from senior engineers.You’ll analyze test results and document findings to identify potential improvements and ensure compliance with operational standards.You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and support deployment of advanced distribution automation solutions. Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:B.S. in Electrical Engineering Degree or other Engineering Degree with related experience1-3 years of relevant professional experienceProfessional proficiency in Python programming languageBONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:Master’s degree in electrical engineeringEducational coursework in power flow, Proficient understanding of circuit maps, experience with using modeling software, or system protection, understanding of interconnection projects, understanding facility infrastructure mapsCompensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
