Accentuate Staffing has partnered with an established equipment manufacturer in Eastern Wake County that is seeking a Product Line Manager to oversee its attachments and implements portfolio. This individual will help shape product direction, expand market presence, improve profitability, and ensure future offerings align with customer and dealer needs.
The ideal candidate will combine product-management experience with strong knowledge of agricultural, ground-care, construction, or outdoor power equipment. This role requires someone comfortable translating customer feedback into product requirements, coordinating development across multiple departments, analyzing market opportunities, and supporting product launches, pricing, sales strategy, and technical evaluation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the product roadmap by evaluating existing offerings, market opportunities, customer requirements, competitive activity, and future product-development priorities.
- Lead cross-functional product-development initiatives, coordinating engineering, sales, marketing, finance, product support, suppliers, and other stakeholders from business case through commercialization.
- Gather voice-of-customer feedback, conduct market and competitive research, and translate findings into product specifications, features, positioning, pricing strategies, and sales programs.
- Partner with finance and commercial teams to evaluate product economics, pricing models, profitability, market-share opportunities, cost structures, and overall portfolio performance.
- Support product testing, design improvements, launches, training, presentations, trade shows, marketing activities, and technical documentation for attachment and implement products.
- Evaluate manufacturing, sourcing, reliability, safety, and cost-improvement opportunities while preparing recurring performance reports and recommendations for leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with approximately 5–7 years of related business experience within agricultural equipment, construction equipment, ground-care products, or outdoor power equipment.
- Approximately 3–5 years of experience involving product development, engineering, product management, or product marketing.
- Strong understanding of product requirements, customer research, competitive analysis, pricing, business cases, and cross-functional new-product development.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with strong analytical skills and the ability to present technical and business information clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple projects, solve business or product issues, build relationships, and collaborate effectively across departments.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to travel approximately 20–30%.
