About the Role
As a Residential HVAC Field Technician, you will serve as a primary technical expert responsible for ensuring home comfort and system efficiency. You will play a vital role in diagnosing complex mechanical issues and providing homeowners with reliable, high-quality solutions that improve their living environment.
Responsibilities- Execute precise diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on diverse residential systems, including forced-air, hydronic, oil, and ductless units.
- Optimize system performance by troubleshooting airflow, refrigerant, fuel, and electrical components using advanced diagnostic instrumentation.
- Drive customer satisfaction by clearly explaining technical findings and recommending improvements for home safety and energy efficiency.
- Maintain operational readiness through accurate documentation of service logs and diligent management of vehicle inventory.
- Foster a culture of excellence by mentoring junior technicians and sharing technical expertise.
- Ensure all service activities adhere to industry best practices and local building codes to guarantee long-term system reliability.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in residential HVAC service.
- Current EPA Universal Certification.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and electrical system failures.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record.
- Physical capability to lift 50 pounds and perform tasks in varied environments, including crawling, kneeling, and climbing.
