Electrical Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal performance of our automated manufacturing systems. In this role, you'll be instrumental in troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving electrical components and systems, contributing directly to our production efficiency. Your expertise in PLC programming and electrical systems will be essential to our success.

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues on equipment such as CNC mills, conveyors, and robots to minimize downtime.
• Implement continuous improvements to equipment controls, including modifications, upgrades, and troubleshooting, to enhance system performance.
• Interpret and work from electrical drawings, equipment specifications, and schematics to accurately diagnose and resolve issues.
• Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance tasks based on work orders to proactively identify and address potential problems.
• Participate in the design, development, and launch of automation and automated equipment to support new production initiatives.
• Maintain a safe and compliant working environment by adhering to established procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Document maintenance activities and communicate effectively with the team to ensure seamless operations.

Required Skills

• Two or more years of experience in manufacturing process controls, demonstrating a strong understanding of automation.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting safety rules, operating instructions, and electrical prints.
• Solid understanding of computer hardware and operating systems used in automated environments.

Preferred Skills

• Expertise with Allen Bradley and/or Fanuc controls, showcasing advanced PLC programming skills.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Automated Manufacturing, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with research of parts as necessary.
