About the Role
Join our precision fabrication team as a Metal Forming Specialist, where you will leverage your technical expertise to transform complex designs into high-quality components. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing our production workflow by programming and operating advanced CNC bending equipment to meet rigorous engineering standards.
Responsibilities- Program and execute complex bending sequences using advanced CNC press brake technology.
- Optimize machine performance by selecting and installing appropriate tooling configurations for diverse material gauges.
- Translate technical blueprints and 3D CAD models into precise, finished metal parts.
- Ensure consistent quality output by performing detailed first-article inspections with precision measurement tools.
- Drive operational efficiency by troubleshooting setup challenges and refining bending parameters.
- Maintain a high standard of workplace safety while handling raw materials and operating industrial machinery.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in CNC press brake operation.
- Demonstrated proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and bend allowances.
- Strong aptitude for using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and protractors.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and safely maneuver sheet metal components.
Preferred Skills
- Direct experience with Trumpf machinery and associated control interfaces.
- Familiarity with modern fabrication software like Touchpoint, BendMaster, or Boost.
- Prior experience in a high-precision, fast-paced sheet metal fabrication environment.
