About the Role
As a CNC Equipment Service Technician, you will play a pivotal role in maximizing production uptime by ensuring our advanced milling machinery operates at peak efficiency. You will leverage your expertise in electrical and mechanical systems to diagnose complex issues, perform proactive maintenance, and drive continuous improvement in our facility's operational reliability.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic failures to minimize production downtime.
- Execute a rigorous preventative maintenance schedule to extend the lifespan and performance of CNC milling assets.
- Interpret intricate technical schematics and blueprints to facilitate precise repairs and equipment installations.
- Utilize multi-meters to perform electrical troubleshooting on AC/DC circuits up to 500 volts.
- Maintain detailed service logs and inventory records within our CMMS to track equipment health and parts usage.
- Collaborate with the production team to identify and mitigate potential hardware bottlenecks before they impact output.
- Ensure all maintenance activities strictly adhere to safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards.
- Program and troubleshoot PLC systems to optimize machine control and performance.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 8 years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience within a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Advanced proficiency in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic control systems.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks while standing for extended shifts.
- Demonstrated ability to work safely in industrial settings.
