What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Band Saw Operator position at Accelera?
We are currently seeking skilled CNC Band Saw Operators to join teams located throughout the Claremore and Catoosa regions.
Compensation and Scheduling: We offer competitive pay ranging from $18.00 to $20.00 or more per hour, with both day and night shift opportunities currently open.
Core Duties- Configure CNC sawing machinery to execute precise metal cutting tasks.
- Support operational efficiency by performing routine equipment upkeep, including blade replacements, debris removal, and monitoring coolant and lubrication levels.
- Ideally, you possess at least one to two years of background working with saws or similar industrial machinery.
- Prior familiarity with CNC plasma tables is considered an advantage.
- Demonstrated proficiency in interpreting tape measurements.
- Capability to perform necessary mathematical conversions.
- Experience utilizing calipers and micrometers is a bonus.
- This role involves various physical activities such as standing, sitting, walking, reaching, and manual pushing or pulling.
- You must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds to ensure a safe work environment.
Candidates must successfully complete a standard drug screening and background investigation prior to starting.
