🚀 Solutions Engineer / Forward-Deployed Engineer

Salary: $175,000-$250,000

We are a seed-stage, document intelligence company building the infrastructure that turns unstructured content into production-ready, auditable data. Its developer-first platform powers enterprise workflows by extracting, structuring, and validating complex documents at scale.
We’re looking for a technical, customer-facing engineer to join a fast-growing, seed-stage startup. You’ll work closely with customers from evaluation through production rollout, solve complex technical challenges, and help shape how the product scales in real-world environments.
This role combines hands-on engineering, customer collaboration, and product input, with direct exposure to founders and go-to-market strategy.
What You’ll Do
- Own technical discovery, design solutions, and lead demos
- Troubleshoot complex integration, performance, and infrastructure issues
- Build tools and templates to improve deployment speed and reliability
- Partner closely with customers to optimize performance and efficiency
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in early-stage or fast-growth startup environments
- Proven background in pre-sales engineering, solutions engineering, forward-deployed engineering, or technical customer success
- 2 years in a customer-facing technical role
- 3 years of full-stack development experience (APIs, developer tools)
- Comfortable debugging production systems and building lightweight features under tight timelines
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
