🚀 Our client — a UK-founded Defence AI company expanding its US engineering capability — is hiring a Senior / Staff Platform Engineer (Virginia / Remote).

They’re building sovereign AI infrastructure used across Defence, Security and national-security environments, combining modern AI with secure cloud, classified deployments, data assurance and real-world operational constraints.

The role:

✅ Own and improve production Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure

✅ Build infrastructure-as-code and repeatable deployment patterns using Terraform, OpenTofu, Pulumi or similar

✅ Deploy AI platforms into US Government, GovCloud and high-security environments

✅ Solve complex security, reliability and operational challenges across customer deployments

✅ Translate an established platform into US Government infrastructure and accreditation requirements

✅ Remain deeply hands-on while becoming a senior technical reference point as the US engineering team grows
