RNAC (Registered Nurse Assessment Coordinator)
Williamsport, Pennsylvania | Full-Time
Rose View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate RNAC to join our clinical team. This position is responsible for overseeing the MDS and RAI assessment process, supporting individualized resident care planning, and helping ensure regulatory compliance and reimbursement accuracy within our skilled nursing environment.
We are looking for a Registered Nurse who brings strong assessment skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional resident-centered care.
Position Responsibilities
• Manage and coordinate MDS assessments in accordance with current RAI guidelines and required timelines
• Review clinical records to support accurate coding, documentation, and reimbursement processes
• Work closely with interdisciplinary team members to develop and maintain individualized care plans
• Oversee assessment scheduling and timely submission of required documentation
• Support Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement functions, including case mix review and management
• Maintain compliance with CMS regulations, state requirements, and facility policies
• Communicate resident assessment updates and changes with nursing leadership and care teams
• Participate in quality improvement and performance initiatives throughout the facility
• Assist with survey preparedness and ongoing regulatory readiness efforts
• Provide education and support to clinical staff regarding documentation standards and MDS procedures
Qualifications
• Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Prior experience as an RNAC or MDS Coordinator in a skilled nursing setting preferred
• Understanding of RAI processes, reimbursement systems, and care planning practices
• Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems preferred
• Excellent communication and time management skills
