What You’ll Do
You’ll be hands-on with diesel trucks and/or buses, handling everything from preventative maintenance to complex diagnostics.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues quickly and accurately
- Perform preventive maintenance to keep fleets running efficiently
- Repair and maintain engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, hydraulics, and drivelines
- Use diagnostic tools, manuals, and equipment to troubleshoot problems
- Complete repairs efficiently and within standard times
- Document work performed clearly and accurately
- Support drivers/operators with technical insight when needed
- Handle road calls and emergency repairs (shop mobile roles available)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Collaborate with a team that values communication and accountability
What You Bring
We’re looking for techs who know their craft and want to keep getting better.
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- 2 years of diesel or heavy equipment experience
- Strong knowledge of diesel systems (engines, electrical, hydraulics, etc.)
- Ability to diagnose issues—not just replace parts
- Basic computer skills for service documentation
- CDL (a plus, not required)
- Trade school or certifications (a plus)
- Willingness to work overtime when needed
