Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time Mathematics Teacher to join our team at ACCEL Academy. In this on-site role, located in Mobile, AL, the Mathematics Teacher will develop and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to various learning styles, manage classroom activities, and assess students’ academic progress to ensure mastery of mathematical concepts. Responsibilities also include collaborating with colleagues on curriculum development, fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment, and contributing to students’ overall academic and personal growth.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Mathematics and Mathematics Education
- Experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development
- Qualified Teacher with relevant teaching certifications and licensing
- Strong communication, classroom management, and instructional skills
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve academic success
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; a higher degree is a plus
- Experience teaching middle or high school students is preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and effectively engage with a diverse student body
