Position: Infant Teacher – Early Childhood Education

Age group: 12-24 Months

Salary: Starting at $13.00/hour

Location: 25860 Friendship Road, Daphne, AL 36526

Employment Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 5:00pm

About the Role

The Infant/Toddler Teacher plays a vital role in supporting the development of children from birth to age three. You’ll provide individualized care, implement age-appropriate activities, and foster a safe, loving environment that encourages exploration and early learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Create an engaging, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
• Develop and implement daily lesson plans that support social, emotional, and cognitive growth
• Maintain classroom safety, sanitation, and organization in accordance with Alabama DHR licensing standards
• Observe, document, and communicate each child’s developmental progress
• Build strong partnerships with parents through regular communication and conferences
• Collaborate with teaching staff to maintain a cohesive and positive school culture
  
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework preferred
• Previous experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of infant and toddler development
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organization skills
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Dependable, patient, and passionate about nurturing young children
