Job Title : Senior Accountant / Supervisor

Location : Lancaster, PA (Onsite)

Duration : Full Time

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant / Supervisor to join our dynamic accounting team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in accounting principles, a collaborative mindset, and leadership potential to oversee and mentor junior staff. This role plays a critical part in ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting while supporting process improvements and team development.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Supervise and mentor junior accountants and accounting interns; provide ongoing training and performance feedback
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
• Coordinate with external auditors during audit processes
• Leverage accounting software and other tools to streamline processes and reporting
• Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as needed
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
• Represent the firm or company in community or professional events, when applicable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Management
• 2–6 years of experience in an accounting or finance role
• Demonstrated ability to oversee, develop, and train junior staff (desired)
• CPA license, or eligibility and intent to obtain CPA licensure (preferred)
• High proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, ERP systems) and general technology use
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated community involvement or volunteer leadership experience (a plus)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
