Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a travel assignment. This opportunity offers the chance to work in a leading academic medical center, delivering high-quality patient care within an acute care setting.
Assignment Details:
• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Schedule: Day Shift (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM), Tuesday through Saturday
• Setting: Acute Care Hospital
• Weekly Hours: 40
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver skilled occupational therapy services under the supervision of an OTR/L
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and functional mobility
• Monitor patient progress and collaborate on treatment plan modifications
• Provide patient and caregiver education to support rehabilitation goals
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinical standards
Required Qualifications:
• Associate’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active state licensure as a COTA
• NBCOT Certification
• BLS Certification (AHA)
• Minimum of one year of relevant clinical experience
• Prior travel experience preferred
Preferred Experience:
• Acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, or skilled nursing facility settings
• Neurological and orthopedic rehabilitation, including CVA, TBI, and spinal cord injury
