About the Role

The Pharmacist Inpatient position is crucial in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for patients during their hospital stay. This role involves collaboration with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care to patients in the inpatient setting.
• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Monitor patient responses to medications and make recommendations as necessary.
• Educate patients and healthcare staff on medication management.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to patient care plans.

Qualifications

• California Board of Pharmacy RPH License required.

Required Skills

• Strong clinical knowledge and experience in inpatient pharmacy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with electronic health records and pharmacy management systems.
• Advanced certification in a pharmacy specialty.

Pay range and compensation package

Contract – 13 weeks, Night 4x10-Hour (21:00 - 07:30) Night 3x10-Hour (21:00 - 07:30) -7 on/7 off (nights)
