Position Overview
The Plant Controller is the financial leader for the manufacturing facility, responsible for ensuring accurate cost accounting, strong financial controls, and data-driven decision support. This role partners closely with plant leadership to improve efficiency, profitability, and operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead all plant accounting activities including cost accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis.
• Maintain and update BOMs, routings, and standard cost models.
• Analyze production costs and recommend cost-reduction strategies.
• Manage inventory valuation, cycle counts, and variance investigations.
• Support operations, supply chain, and sales with financial insights.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and operational KPI reports.
• Drive the annual budget process and rolling forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in accounting/finance; CPA/CMA a plus.
• 8 years in accounting with at least 5 years in plant/manufacturing finance.
• Expertise in cost accounting and inventory analysis.
• Strong ERP experience (manufacturing-focused preferred).
• Advanced Excel and solid analytical capabilities.
• Strong communicator and cross-functional partner.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $105,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
