Interested?Here's what you'd do: As an Engineering Technician, you will be asked to action on a variety of tasks and lead projects. This position needs a skilled, independent, and reliable individual who is eager to collaborate with others from diverse technical backgrounds. You will regularly showcase your problem-solving abilities by providing creative solutions to unique, time-sensitive problems, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.In collaboration with Engineers, design, build, operate, and maintain test fixtures, setups, and ad hoc equipment for R&D projects, including development and qualification testing on mechanical and electrical hardware, with minimal supporting documentationPerform light fabrication and assembly tasks, including the operation of manual machining tools, welders, typical shop, power, and hand toolsMaintain or create documentation during fault finding, maintenance, or upgrade activitiesUnderstand and follow safety and environmental regulations, as well as identify safety and environmental concernsImprove test capability and efficiency by making continuous improvements to test methods, rigs, equipment, and by communicating feedback to EngineersConduct post-test teardowns to evaluate failure modes of concernBuild high-quality harnesses, cables, and enclosures per Engineering documentationMaintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment throughout builds, effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines.Here's what you'll get: Pay rate: $35.00-$40.00/Hour.Hours: 40 Hours/Week Length: Temp (6 Months) Sound like a good fit?
